Cocolife Asset Management Company, Inc. (CAMCI), a wholly owned subsidiary of COCOLIFE, was incorporated on March 17, 2003. CAMCI is the investment manager and principal distributor of three Mutual Funds: United Fund, Inc. (UFI), Cocolife Fixed Income Fund, Inc. (CFIFI), and Cocolife Dollar Fund Builder, Inc. (C$FB). These funds have received recognition and awards both from international and local award giving bodies such as Thomson Reuters Lipper Fund, International Finance, Global Business Outlook, International Business Magazine and Philippine Investment Funds Association (PIFA) for their superior performance.

THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
JUSTICE ROMEO P. BARZA (Ret.)
Justice Romeo F. Barza, serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cocolife Asset Management Co., Inc. (CAMCI), United Fund, Inc., Cocolife Fixed Income Fund, Inc., and Cocolife Dollar Fund Builder, Inc. since July 2020. He was previously the Presiding Justice of the Court of Appeals since December 2017 until his retirement in August 2019. Justice Barza was first appointed as Associate Justice of the Appellate Court in May 2006, by then President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Among his previous engagements were: National President of the Philippine Judges Association in 2003 and 2005 and President of Region IV RTC Judges Association from 1996 to 2002. He was Presiding Judge of Makati City Branch 61 (2000-2006) and Batangas City Regional Trial Court Branch 3 (1996-2002) after his private law practice. He was the Founder of Barza Law Office, and Founding Partner of Carpio, Barza, Cruz and Rosell Law Offices (now Villarza and Angangco Law Office).
Justice Barza graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Foreign Service from the University of the Philippines, Diliman in 1970. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Philippines, Diliman in 1974.
ARTEMIO A. TANCHOCO, JR.
Director and President
Mr. Artemio A. Tanchoco, Jr. is the Director and President of Cocolife Asset Management Co., Inc., United Fund, Inc., Cocolife Fixed Income Fund, Inc. (since 2003) and Cocolife Dollar Fund Builder, Inc. (since 2008). He was an incorporator of the investment company and the three mutual funds. Under his helm, the three mutual funds were consistently recipients of awards from the Philippine Investment Funds Association (PIFA) and the international award-giving bodies Thomson Reuters Lipper Fund and International Finance. Concurrently, he serves as the Executive Vice President and Head of Investments Division of COCOLIFE since September 1989. He previously served as Treasurer of UCPB General Insurance Co., Inc. (1983-2019), Cocoplans, Inc. (1993-2019) and Ultra Security Services, Inc. (1987-2019). He was also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Philippine Investment Funds Association (PIFA) from 2001 to 2005.
Mr. Tanchoco holds an AB Economics degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1971. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management in 1973.
CAROLINA G. DIANGCO
Ms. Carolina G. Carolina Diangco serves as an Independent Director of United Fund, Inc., Cocolife Fixed Income Fund, Inc. and Cocolife Dollar Fund Builder, Inc. since 2009. She is also a director of COCOLIFE, a position she has held from 1998 up to the present. She previously served as a Director at Bank of Commerce until July 2018, and Vice President and head of Controllership Division for United Coconut Planters Bank until 2002.
Ms. Diangco graduated from the University of the Philippines with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Accountancy in 1963. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
JOSE MARTIN A. LOON
Atty. Jose Martin A. Loon serves as Directors for CAMCI, United Fund, Inc., Cocolife Fixed Income Fund, Inc. (since 2003) and Cocolife Dollar Fund Builder, Inc. He is also the President and Chief Executive Officer of United Coconut Planters Life Assurance Corp. (COCOLIFE). He is the founding partner of Aquende Yebra Aniag Loon & Associates Law Offices, and he holds the following positions in other ventures: Member of the Consultative Committee to Review the 1987 Constitution (appointed by President Rodrigo R. Duterte), Legal Counsel/Confidential Assistant of Inigo & Mercedes Zobel; Consultant at San Miguel Corporation (SMC), Independent Director of Cyberbay Corporation, Professorial Lecturer at Ateneo de Manila University, Professorial Lecturer in Manuel L. Quezon University Law School and other law schools. His previous work experiences include being the Executive Assistant and Senior Aide to the Senate Majority Leader Alan Peter S. Cayetano, Consultant of Senate Minority Leader (Oversight Committee on Tax Reform/ Oversight Committee on Automated Elections), Legal Intern at Poblador, Bautista & Reyes Law Office and at the University of the Philippines College of Law Office of Legal Aid.
Atty. Loon is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Quezon City Chapter. He graduated in 2008 from the Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in Bachelor of Arts, major in Political Science. Atty. Loon pursued his law studies at the University of the Philippines College of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in 2013. He obtained Master of Laws in National Security Law from Georgetown University in 2015.
JUSTICE ARTURO D. BRION (Ret.)
Justice Arturo D. Brion (ret.) currently serves as Director of CAMCI and Cocolife Dollar Fund Builder, Inc. since July 2020. He is also a Director at United Coconut Planters Life Assurance Corp. (COCOLIFE) and Vice-Chairman of the Board of COCOGEN, Inc. Specializing in Public Law, Justice Brion served as the Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines from 2008 until his retirement in 2016. Within those years, he was the chairman of the Bar Examinations and member of various internal committees of the High Tribunal. Prior to serving the Supreme Court, Justice Brion was the Secretary of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in 2006-2008, Foreign Affairs Undersecretary (for Special Projects) in 2002-2003 and has held positions in Siguion Reyna, Montecillo & Ongsiako Law Offices, Canadian Law Practice and Natividad, Delos Reyes, Maambong & Brion Office. Justice Brion also has experience in the academe, currently serving as a Faculty Member in Ateneo De Manila University College of Law, University of Asia and the Pacific Institute of Law and San Pablo Colleges Law Department.
Justice Brion obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree major in Mathematics from San Pablo Colleges in 1970. He earned his Bachelor of Laws from Ateneo de Manila University Law School in 1974, graduating Cum Laude and Class Valedictorian. He also topped the Philippine Bar Exams in 1974. He obtained Master of Laws at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University in Canada in 1994.
ROWENA E.V. DAROY MORALES
Atty. Rowena E.V. Daroy Morales serves as Director of Cocolife Asset Management Company, Inc. since July 2020. Atty. Daroy Morales is also a Member of the Supreme Court Committee/Technical Working Group since 2018, Board Member of the Philippine Center for UP’s Women’s Studies Foundation, Inc. since 2012, and Court of Appeals Mediator since 2005. She is also a member of professional societies, the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Women in Law (WINLAW), Women’s Legal Circle (WILOCI), and Federacion Internacional de Abogadas. Atty. Daroy Morales has over 50 years of experience in the academe, serving as Faculty Member at the UP College of Law since 1994. Her previous engagements include: Director of the Institute of Judicial Administration (UP College of Law), and Co-Chair University of the Philippines Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment, and Lead Facilitator of the PHILJA-Supreme Court Project on Change Management and Case Flow Management.
Atty. Daroy-Morales obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communication in 1973 and Bachelor of Laws with a Dean’s Medal award in 1993 at the University of the Philippines, Diliman. She also completed units for M.A.in Communications from the same institution.
ALLOYSIUS R. YEBRA
Atty. Alloysius R. Yebra is a Director of Cocolife Asset Management Co., Inc. and Cocolife Fixed Income Fund, Inc. He concurrently serves as Assistant Vice President & Head of Risk Management and Compliance Division of COCOLIFE. He is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines since May 2017, and is a Professional Lecturer in Criminal Law and Labor Law at Legal Edge Bar Review Center. Prior to his engagement with CAMCI, Atty. Yebra was a Junior Partner at Rosal, Reyes & Associates Law, Legal Consultant at Aquende Yebra Anial Loon & Associates Law (AYALALaw), Data Privacy Consultant at Avator Consultancy, Inc. and Political Consultant in the Province of Camarines Norte.
Atty. Yebra graduated with Bachelor of Arts Degree in Legal Management (2011) from University of Santo Tomas. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Philippines in 2016, ranking 1st of the graduating class.
JOSE MANUEL C. RAZON
Mr. Jose Manuel C. Razon serves as Independent Director of CAMCI and United Fund, Inc.. He is also a Managing Director of Transcend Polished Asia Inc., and Assistant Vice President for Operations of Tradetek Resources, Inc. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Torque’s Best Food Enterprise, Inc. He was also Assistant to the President of TM Ventures, Inc. and Credit Analyst III at HSBC Philippines.
Mr. Razon obtained his Bachelor of Science in Management Degree from Ateneo de Manila University in 2008.
RAMON MANUEL G. DE CLARO
Mr. Ramon Manuel G. De Claro serves as Director of CAMCI and Cocolife Fixed Income Fund, Inc. since March 2020. He is also a Managing Director of Clargis Food Ventures, Inc., Vice President for Finance of Renato Realty and Development Corporation, Director and Treasurer-in-trust of Banh Mi Kitchen Services, Inc., Director of Galvez Realty and Development Co. Inc., Director of Manester Development Corporation and Director of MBPP Enterprises, Inc.
Mr. De Claro completed his Masters in Entrepreneurship from Ateneo Graduate School of Business in 2012. He also holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree major in Communication Technology Management from Ateneo de Manila University in 2008.
REX D. LAMPA
Atty. Rex D. Lampa is the Corporate Secretary of Cocolife Asset Management Co., Inc., United Fund, Inc., Cocolife Fixed Income Fund, Inc. and Cocolife Dollar Fund Builder, Inc. since 2019. He also holds various positions within the Cocolife Group of Companies: Vice President of Legal in COCOLIFE (since 2010), and Corporate Secretary of COCOPLANS, Inc. (since 2012) and HEALTHASSIST, Inc. (since 2015). Atty. Lampa is also a Director at Ultra Security Agency and the Corporate Secretary of Direct Insurance Agency, Inc. since 2019. Prior to this, he was an Associate at Fortun, Narvasa & Salazar Law Office from 2008 to 2010.
Atty. Lampa holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in Polytechnic University of the Philippines and obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in 2007.
